Patch cords optical cable
A fiber patch cord can be a cable that connects devices allowing
information to pass together. Patch cords certainly are a common
method of setting up wired connections between devices, including
connecting a tv with a digital cable box using coaxial cable. These
cords are used for any kind of signal transference, such as in a
television, radio or computer network. These cables are
manufactured with standard fiber optic cabling and are terminated
with fiber optic connectors for both ends.
FC/APC-ST/UPC fiber optic patch cord is used to connect fiber optic equipment to
equipment or patch panel to equipment. It comprises of a patch
cable terminated with FC fiber optic connector at one end, while the other end will be
terminated with the ST fiber optic connector. The patch cord is available in simplex and
duplex types with both Singlemode and Multimode fiber types
supported.
